Kingussie Food on Film is a Community Group founded with the primary aim of delivering a Food on Film festival each winter in Kingussie, as well as encouraging the making of films about food.
Founded in 2007 by a partnership of the Auld Alliance Gourmet Academy and Kingussie High School, the Kingussie Food on Film committee was then set up in 2009 and now works in partnership with several community groups.
Our Patron:
CRAIG ANDERSON – award-winning journalist and TV correspondant
We are delighted that Craig has agreed to be our patron, as he has been involved in Food on Film since the first festival was being organised in 2007, and has always been an enthusiastic supporter!
Craig is the BBC’s Inverness-based TV correspondent, and has contributed to numerous broadcasting outlets and newspapers, making films for Channel 4, producing documentaries for the BBC World Service and writing for papers as diverse as the Financial Times, The Economist and The Sun. He is a former Scottish TV Journalist of the Year.
