Tapas Demo From Guest Chef Duncan Chisholm
Food on Film were delighted that Inverness chef Duncan Chisholm, owner of the popular Spanish restaurant La Tortilla Asesina, joined us at The Food Hall to demonstrate how to cook tapas – with plenty of lovely tastings for the audience!
La Tortilla Asesina is Duncan’s brainchild, and locals in the know like to think of it as the best tapas bar outside Spain. After touring Spain on his motorbike, involving numerous stops at tapas bars along the way, Chisholm decided to take the concept back home. Not only has he successfully recreated the look, including imported tiles adorning the restaurant’s bottom half and chilled counters at the bar, but the food is authentic and delicious.
