Only the finest Atlantic Salmon are used from Loch Duart Ltd, widely regarded as the best fish farm in Scotland. These salmon originate from the clean, crystal clear waters of the North of Scotland. The salmon are traditionally smoked in kilns using “Oak Chips” from whisky barrels to give that wonderfully delicious flavour and texture. The Smokehouse is run by David and Ruari Murray a genuine father and son business.
