What a wonderful four days we’ve all had – with over a thousand people turning up to events in seven venues across the town. Most events were full to capacity and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Children were kept busy with workshops, a film matinee and free chocolate, young people had a glamorous Oscar Night and a chance to talk to film industry people about career opportunities. There was glorious food at every event from a traditional British roast lunch to Mexican, Indian and Chinese – all themed to go with the films. The Food Hall was fantastic – loads of local food stalls, celebrity chefs cooking and wonderful tastings – especially whisky!
